Pokhara:
Pokhara is one of the adventurous cities located in central Nepal and known for its stunning natural beauty. The majestic Annapurna Range is also the tourism capital of the country. Pokhara’s mild climate, jaw-dropping landscape, and closeness to the Himalayas make it a famous base for trekkers and foreign enthusiasts. Devis Falls and Gupteshwor Cave are the popular tourist attractions in Pokhara. Devis Falls attracts tourists for its beauty and the unique way in which water disappears into the ground. Gupteshwor Cave, located near Devis Falls, is a spiritual place dedicated to Lord Shiva. Visitors can go in and explore the cave’s interior. Outline Itinerary of Nepal Family Tour Package
Day 1: You will be received by our representative at the international airport and then transferred to your hotel. In the evening, you will go for a walk or shop in Thamel district.
Day 2: Visit Unesco World Heritage Sites like Pathsupatinath Temple, Boudha Stupa, and Swyambhu, and then you will go visit Kathmandu Durbar Square.

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu:
On your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, you will be received by our pleasant consultant, who will drop you off at your hotel in the Thamel district. After getting comfortable, you can begin with an off-foot excursion in Thamel, exploring its busy markets and coming across unique stores. Thamel is known for its shops and avenue carriers, who provide everything from trekking equipment to handicraft miniatures, rings, electronics, and plenty more Apart from shops, Thamel offers a wide variety of restaurants that cater to quite a few tastes.
You will have a welcome dinner at night along with our representative, who will brief you regarding the tour.
Day 2: Exploring Kathmandu’s Cultural Treasures:
What can be more wonderful than beginning your day by going on a visit to Pashupatinath Temple, listening to the rhymes and chants of the mantras, and purifying your soul and mind?
We will start our day with breakfast at the hotel and then go on a visit to Pashupatinath Temple. It’s one of the holy places for Hindus across the world. The temple holds such importance because of its architecture, which features a building with a bunk roof and a golden spire, a four-faced linga of the main deity Shiva, and the ghat behind the temple along the banks of the Bagmati River, where you can always find some cremation process going on, which shows the beauty of death, and you can witness the captivating rituals there.
Next, head to Boudhanath Stupa, also known as Bouddha, which is one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Pohara, being famous for its breathtaking views of the Annapurna range, will greet you as you approach Pokhara. As the journey is very long, we might stop at some place to have lunch and get a little fresh. We will probably reach there by daytime or close to evening, and then you will be settled into your hotel near the shores of Phewa Lake. It will be suggested that you take some time to relax and get comfortable with the atmosphere there. Having a cup of coffee or tea from the balcony will be an awesome idea. In the evening, you can go on a walk along the lakeside to get some fresh air or have dinner at a lakeside restaurant.
Day 4: Pokhara: Waterfalls, Caves, and Himalayan Reflections
On day 4 of our tour, you will have breakfast in the hotel and then we will proceed with our schedule for the places to visit.
In the morning, we will begin our day by enjoying the sunrise at Saragnkot Hill and then a full day of sight-seeing. Thereafter, we will go to Devi’s Falls, which has a captivating waterfall that goes deep down to the earth and disappears into a deep, narrow valley (chasm). This place attracts both local and international tourists every year and is famous for its beautiful structure. Visitors can also try their luck on the luck pond by throwing and trying to place the coin on the statue of the god constructed there.
Next, we arrive at Gupteshwor Cave, which is a sacred place dedicated to Lord Shiva. The cave is situated near Devis Falls and is known for its intricate rock structures, which include stalactites and stalagmites. There, you will experience a surge of spiritual energy and the beauty of the cave.
After visiting the cave, we will embark on a peaceful and soothing boat ride across the Phewa Lake. The lake is known for a temple that is situated on a small piece of land in the middle of the lake, known as Tal Barahi Temple. As you look around, you will be mesmerized by the beauty of the Annapurna range.
We will return to our hotel by evening or you can have dinner at any lakeside restaurant.
Day 5: Drive to Syaulibazar and trek to Ghandruk, 2/3 hours.
Our day 5 of the Nepal family tour will begin with preparing for a trek from Syaulibazar to Ghandruk. You will have your morning meal and then step into our vehicle, which will take us to Syaulibazar, On our way, we will be passing through rural villages,terraced farms and it will be a scenic drive.
From Syauliabazar, it is an uphill trek of 2-3 hours to reach Ghandruk village. The trail goes on through forest, cultivated land, and occasional views of mountains like the Himchuli and Macchapuchare, and south of the Annapurna range. While trekking, you will also be crossing some suspension bridges over the small streams. You will get the opportunity to live locally, taste some Nepali traditional cuisine and experience the culture and lifestyle of the Gurug community at Ghandruk Village.
(If you have any difficulty while trekking up, we will drive you directly up to Ghandruk village by road.)
Day 6: Trek to Syaulibazar and drive to Pokhara.
In the morning of our 6th day, you will have your meal in the hotel and be able to enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of Ghandruk village and engage with the people of Gurung community. The beautiful view of Machhpuchare, Dhaulagiri, and Annapurna in the morning will just leave you in awe.
Then, after spending time having fun in the village, we will trek down to Syaulibazar, witnessing some small fountains and forest attractions.
Once we reach Syaulibazar, we will drive back to Pokhara, witnessing a scenic evening as the sun sets. Once you reach Pokhara, you can rest and have dinner, and at night, you can go on a self tour to explore the nightlife of Pokhara.
Day 7: Drive to Chitwan National Park from Pokhara.
Our day 7 will begin with us traveling from Pokhara to Chitwan, with a complete change in scenery from mountains to lower plains and a slightly hot climate.
We will probably reach Chitwan by the afternoon, and you will be settled into your comfortable lodge. After eating some snacks and getting comfortable with the surrounding atmosphere, we will be going on a jungle walk where you can experience the hospitality of the Tharu community, learn a little about them, or also try to handcraft something with the local materials. In the evening, you will witness a cultural program by the Tharu people, where you can witness their traditional dances, music, etc. Chitwan has beautiful sunsets, and watching them from your balcony will just be a different experience. Enjoy your dinner with a cultural dance at night.
Day 8: Chitwan National Park: A Day of Thrilling Wildlife Encounters
In the morning of day 8, you will have an early morning breakfast, and then we will begin our jungle safari into the heart of Chitwan National Park. We will travel through dense grasslands, forests, and along the banks of the Rapti River, where you will witness diverse wildlife and encounter one-horned rhinos grazing the grass or could see majestic elephants playing with each other in the waters. If lucky, you might also get a chance to see tigers and leopards. Your guide will be sharing all the information with you regarding the park’s ecosystem and the animals in it.
In the afternoon, you will experience the beauty of Chitwan from a different perspective by going on a canoe ride down the Rapti River. You will be witnessing gharials, which are a critically endangered species of crocodile.

Day 9: Return to Kathmandu and Exploration of the Ancient Cities of Bhaktapur and Patan:
On day 9 of Nepal Family tour, we will have our breakfast and return to Kathmandu.
You will be escorted to your hotel rooms, and soon we will go on our final journey to Bhaktapur, a city known for its rich heritage and culture along with its intricate structure. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is one of the world’s heritage sites. There, you can immerse yourself in historical temples, places, and courtyards. Bhaktapur is considered one of the three historical kingdoms in the Kathmandu Valley, nevertheless maintaining its medieval allure and Newari traditions.
